For all of you that have attended one of the FPT Tech “Sonar Basics” classes offered at various venues in Sacramento, you are cordially extended a “preferred” pre-registration invite to the upcoming “Intermediate/Advanced Concepts” class to be held on Thursday, July 28th, at Fisherman’s Warehouse in Sacramento Ca.
This is an advanced class presented by Future Pro Tech, features actual “hands-on” training on the sonar units, and is provided in a lab setting, with emphasis on Humminbird’s dynamic “Side Imaging” technology. Len Vinci, of Johnson Outdoors will be the instructor and is by far, the best there is when it comes to helping the everyday angler understand sonar concepts – both basic and advanced.
This class teaches sonar advanced concepts, but also covers some of the more particular aspects of sonar technology. In this class, students can expect to learn
- Setting alarms
- Resolving noise/interference issues
- Setting Waypoints
- Understanding Side Imaging
- Transducer technology/functionality
- Downloading software – Offloading stored data
And much more!
Again, this class will be held at Fishermen’s Warehouse, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. If you would like to attend, you need to RSVP immediately, as space for the class will be limited and is sure to fill up quickly.
