The only Nor Cal boat dealer to be named in Boating Industry Magazine’s Top 100, Gone Fishin’ Marine in Dixon announced they will present a Boating Safety Certification Class.
Providing the program by boater request, Gone Fishin’ is offering the three-day course to boaters with a variety of experience levels. As the GF rep stated, “This class is ideal for the new boater who wants to get things right the first time; for the wife who avoids going out on the boat because she doesn’t know what to do at the ramp or in an emergency; and for the kids who you want to see become self sufficient and comfortable on the water”.
Taught by the Coast Guard Auxiliary members, the sessions will satisfy the requisites for a Boating Safety Certification in California.
Being held in the same location as the monthly Ultimate Bass University seminars, the Safety Certification courses will be take place in the GF Marine showroom.
The trio of sessions are scheduled to be held from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm on three consecutive Thursday evenings in February beginning on the 10th, continuing on the 17th and wrapping up on the 24th.
Registration will run $25 per person for the entire series.
