HydroWave Continues Support of Collegiate Anglers and the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Series
San Antonio, TX – November 15, 2011 – The Association of Collegiate Anglers has announced that HydroWave will continue support of the 2012 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Series. As a series sponsor, HydroWave will enjoy extensive promotion and product exposure with collegiate anglers throughout the nation, and students will have the opportunity to win this cutting-edge technology throughout the season.
HydroWave is the brainchild of successful Dallas businessman, and competitive bass angler, Gene Eisenmann. He introduced the concept to Robert Palmer, an engineer with extensive background in electronic product engineering and development, and owner of RHP Industries located in Aubrey, Texas. Together with input from professional anglers, such as Kevin VanDam and Jeff Kriet, they designed and built the HydroWave, an audio technology used to stimulate fish feeding impulses and “ignite a feeding frenzy”.
Gene Eisenmann, Managing Partner of HydroWave, is quoted as saying, “Since the inception of our company, we have been involved with collegiate bass fishing. Everyone at HydroWave has a passion for developing the next generation of fishermen, and the college level is the undisputed platform. These students are very technical in nature, making a perfect fit with our advanced technology that we have brought to the sport. The passion, motivation, excitement, and mostly the “Pure Adrenaline” that these students bring to the events is overwhelming.” Eisenmann went on to add, “The BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Series, and the supporting television programming, are both action-packed. We haven’t found this level of quality in outdoor entertainment or events anywhere else. We are proud to say that HydroWave is involved with college fishing and we will continue our investment in this generation of sportsmen.”
HydroWave will be awarding prize units to students at each of the nationally televised ACA events, including the Cabela’s Collegiate Big Bass Bash, The BoatUS Collegiate Bass Championship, and the Collegiate Bass Fishing Open. HydroWave prostaff will also be participating in activities at these events to help educate students on the benefits, as well as the operation, of HydroWave units.
Danny Blandford, Program Director for the ACA, added, “We’re happy to have the continued support of HydroWave. Students are interested in all the cutting-edge technology in fishing, and HydroWave has proven to be pioneers in their field. Our anglers will be excited to learn more from their team, not to mention eager to get their hands on anything that could help them beat a rival college. We look forward to having HydroWave onsite at the events and to continuing growing our businesses together.”
