Recommend and Win!

The Association of Collegiate Anglers, in conjunction with The Bass University, is running their first free ticket promotion December 12-18, 2011, via Facebook at:  www.facebook.com/CollegiateBassChampionship.

All fans of the page will be registered for a chance to win, providing they write a recommendation of the page to their friends during the week.

According to Danny Blandford, Program Director for the ACA, “The Bass University promo is simple.  Come to our Facebook page, “Like it” if you don’t already, then write a recommendation to your friends to do the same.  Everyone who writes a recommendation during the promo week will be registered for a chance to win a free ticket to the Bass University of their choice.”

(The “Recommendation from Friends” is located on the right-hand side of the Collegiate Bass Championship page)

This is the first of six promotions that will be held for the 2012 Bass University classes.  In addition to these promotions, competitors with the Association of Collegiate Anglers and the BoatU.S. Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Series have a new opportunity to enrich both their minds and their wallets.

As a result of a new partnership with The Bass University, students can take advantage of a special “Student Discount” for the upcoming 2011-2012 Bass University courses.  Should a student team of two anglers graduate one of the upcoming courses and then win the 2012 BoatU.S. Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship, those two anglers will earn a $500 bonus or a day on the water with one of the Bass University instructors.

In addition to the bonus, students interested in getting registered early for the upcoming courses can get a $25 College Discount Code for online enrollment by emailing Danny@carecotv.com.

Mike Iaconelli, co-founder of The Bass University went on to add, “”The Bass University is super excited about partnering with a great organization like the BoatU.S. Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship. The Bass University was built on the simple concepts of fishing education and growing the sport. There is no better way to do this than through young anglers and college students. Bass University is looking forward to helping these anglers learn more about the sport of bass fishing!”"

For more information on upcoming Bass University Courses, students can visit www.thebassuniversity.com, where they will find dates, locations, and information about the instructors.  There are even links to purchase the same gear the pros use and discuss in their seminars.
