Pressing forward with dogged determination, Travis teamed with newcomer Benny Broom of Modesto (grandson of central valley legend Don Payne), and their hard worked earned them the 2010 Future Pro Tour Navionics Cup title
for the central valley, and most recently, the prestigious Future Pro Tour Angler of the Year title for 2011.
