Collegiate Bass Anglers Arrive in Paris

This unique event features a true team format that allows teammates to share information and work together to amass the largest amount of weight possible over two days of competition. The winning team will be determined by the combined weight of each team’s top two boats each day.

Smallie Central….West Central Bassmasters Open!!

Despite having a slow start to the day, we were able to catch quite a few quality smallmouth over the course of the day and our final six fish limit weighed 19.59 lb’s. COALITION PRO DAVID BURNS & TASK FORCE PARTNER TAKE 3rd

Their first 3 fish were caught outside the marina off the eastern point. They managed 2 keepers in the live-well. Once they got to their first spot in Echo Bay Jim threw a drop shot on a rock point that Burns had lost a great smallmouth during pre-fish. Jim slammed that puppy and they had our 3rd fish in the live-well, they then headed to 3 coves that Burns had done very well earlier in the week.

ARMYBASSANGLERS PRO DAVID BEHM RETURNS TO A TOP 10 FINISH—HOOAH!

After recovering from back surgery to repair a ruptured disc in January, ArmyBassAngler Pro Dave Behm returns to a top 10 finish for his 1st tournament of the year. The first tournament back found Dave Behm fishing Lake Mojave on the Arizona and Nevada border.

Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Events on Pickwick Lake

UCF Knights Win 2011 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship

After weighing in 17.07 pounds on day one, Sonar and Casey caught one of only six, five bass limits recorded on the final day. They added 10.85 pounds to their day one weight for a total of 27.92 pounds, giving the team a comfortable margin of victory.

Third Annual Marines Helping Marines Bass Tournament a Huge Success

An outstanding 37 teams participated in this event which included about 15 wounded Marines who were wounded in Afghanistan and or Iraq. Five participants were both double amputees above the knee and one was a single leg amputee. Other injuries included traumatic brain injuries and blindness from explosives caused by improvised explosive devices.

Douglas Lake BASS Open

Douglas Lake, along with Jefferson County, Tenn., play host to the second 2011 Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Southern Open June 2-4. DeFoe has partnered with Jefferson County for both the 2011 Elite Series as well as this Open, and is thrilled to see such an event on his home lake.
