Ducks Unlimited releases mobile apps

Ducks Unlimited is the world’s largest nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving North America’s continually disappearing waterfowl habitats. Guided by science and dedicated to program efficiency, DU works toward the vision of wetlands sufficient to fill the skies with waterfowl today, tomorrow and forever.

“DU has developed a wealth of new content and applications that waterfowl hunters can access in one convenient location,” Chris Jennings, DU web editor says. “We will release new content throughout the entire season, so waterfowl hunters will want to stay tuned and set WF360 as their homepage throughout the season.”

SPORTSMEN TO CONGRESS: ‘GULF COAST NEEDS RESTORATION NOW’

To make certain sportsmen’s voices are heard, Ducks Unlimited and the National Wildlife Federation are hosting a sportsmen’s fly-in this week as part of their Vanishing Paradise partnership. During the next two days, the group will visit more than 25 congressional offices to discuss with senators, representatives and their staffs the importance of restoring the Gulf’s rapidly disappearing coastal wetlands and ensuring penalties paid by BP are used for Gulf habitat restoration.
