“I’ve been attending PAA events and forging relationships with PAA members for several years now, leaving no doubt that this is an organization that’s growing quickly and that I wanted to be a part of,” said Comeau.
“Seawalls were pretty good, too, and several of my fish I caught around them threw up brown-orange crawfish in the livewell. I think the full moon last week probably had something to do with the crawfish and the fish were taking advantage of it around those walls.”

“Normally, I like to fish that big worm fast,” King said. “But yesterday on stage Mike said something about having to slow down to get better bites. This morning early I fished it real slow.” That made a huge difference. He had enough weight to win within the first few hours.
“I grew up fishing there and fished it a lot before I moved,” said the founder of Phoenix Boats. “But that’s been about 25 years and it’s changed a lot since then. I still like going there, though. It’s a really good lake and is fun to fish on.”
