Many of us fisherman dream of reeling in that record catch. Some of us have actually experienced bringing aboard the one that others let get away. In an effort to document the record catches around the globe, United Marine Underwriters has created an interactive infographic, titled “True Fish Tales.” Click on the icons to see the record catches recorded so far and, better yet, add your own True Fish Tale. The goal of this UMU infographic is to find the largest catches and share them with the fishing community.
We’ve gotten a good start on researching and documenting the largest fish from salmon in Alaska to Giant Trevaley in Japan, but we want the fishing community to fill us in on record catches from anywhere.
True Fish Tales also allows users to share fishing stories and pictures, even if they aren’t the monster catches we all dream about.
